Safety

From the new employee’s first day it’s clear that safety is a big part of our corporate culture. Without exception, before any worker can be on a job site, he or she must complete an 8 Hour Safety course. All our foremen have a minimum of an OSHA 30 Certification, CPR and First Aid Certification, as well as Competent Person Certification for scaffolding and fall protection. In addition, all spray men are Respirator Fit Test Certified. Our full time dedicated safety inspector inspects all job sites on a weekly to daily basis. By visiting the sites, himself, he can correct or avoid potential safety issues long before they can become an issue.

Keeping our workers safe is good for them, it’s good for Action Decorating, Inc and it’s good for business. We have achieved a very respectable EMR, as well as maintained a zero-lost time Osha 300 report.
